October 18-19, 2018 – The National TVET (Technical Vocational Education Training) Trainers Academy of TESDA (Technical Education and Skills Development Authority) recently visited Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) for an immersion on the development of electric and hybrid vehicles in the country.
The participants had their trainer skills upgrade program with the purpose of enhancing their knowledge, skills and competence through exposure to various and current companies that practices EV (electric vehicle) technology.
MMPC Senior Manager for CS Improvement, Mr. Gideon Bruno shared, “The participants were amazed with MMPC’s technology, manufacturing plant and training facilities. They are looking forward to our Outlander PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) and i-MiEV units plying around the metro and other major cities of the country in the near future.”
Aside from enhancing their knowledge and skills and being updated with the latest development regarding EV technology, the program also aims to boost the participant’s confidence in conducting trainings related to electric vehicles.
With this recent activity, MMPC showed its commitment to the conservation of its environment by using fuel efficient end environment-friendly vehicles like the Outlander PHEV and i-MiEV.
