Coinciding with the birthday of its president and CEO, Mr. Hikosaburo Shibata, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corp. (MMPC), once again fulfilled its role as a responsible corporate citizen by way of giving back through several community focused programs. Adopted school Brgy. San Juan Development Center was among their beneficiary of this Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. Cash grant which shoulders the tuition and fees of preschoolers was given to Brgy. San Juan Development Center. Aside from this, preschoolers were also given basic school supplies.
Another institution which benefited from their CSR program is the Tahanang Walang Hagdanan (TWH). TWH is a non-governmental organization for the physically challenged. Cash donation that will be use for purchase of medicines and medical supplies was turned over by Mr. Shibata to TWH Founder and Chairman Sister Valenciana Baerts, ICM. Beneficiaries of the donations showed immense gratitude for the continuous support of MMPC in their advocacies. As one of its corporate philosophy MMPC will continue its commitment to foster and support institutions that are geared towards the development and improvement of every individual.
